10 Powerful Bible Passages to Remember during Volatile Times

If you followed me through my three-part series on mental toughness for Christians, you know about getting comfortable being uncomfortable, fighting the fear of standing out, and building indestructible faith for when the waters rise.

But if you’re thinking it’s impossible to build up an indestructible faith on your own … you’re right. Only God can do that.

And he does it through his Word, a.k.a. the Bible.

Hands down, the best mental conditioning a Christian can do to prepare for times of turbulence is to fill up with scripture. Read, meditate, MEMORIZE, and feel the power of the Holy Spirit working in you. I’ve got a few verses here to get you started—ten Bible passages to remember during volatile times.

Are you ready?

  1. All very comforting Bible passages from the Word.
We don’t have the answers on our own, God always does! So important to read and study his Word everyday to maintain “mental toughness.”
    Thank you, Lauren wonderfully written.

  2. Thank you, Lauren. Once again you have given great advice and awesome examples from the Bible. I can’t help but think of the Ukrainian people and I pray that these verses are written on their hearts and as devastating and difficult as it must be, I pray they find hope and encouragement in them and in our Lord and Savior. God bless you and your ministry.
